During this stage, the project moves from plans to implementation. Depending on the project, this may include finalizing implementation contracts, selecting contractors or suppliers, ordering materials, preparing the site, completing construction or installation, and confirming that the approved project was delivered as planned.
Stage Outcome: The project is completed and verified.
Typical Duration to Complete: 2–10 months

The workflow below outlines the key tasks for moving an implementation-ready project through construction or installation and closeout.
Complete implementation contracting and contractor or supplier selection, if needed.
Order materials and complete site preparation needed to begin work.
Complete construction, installation, and other approved project activities.
Confirm the approved project features were completed and document what was installed.
Complete project closeout with DOC, including final documentation and payment.
