Communications and Messaging on Land Repurposing and Water Issues
In the January monthly meeting, the Statewide Support Entity provided best practices for communicating land repurposing and water issues. Discussion included tailoring messaging with specific audiences such as disadvantaged communities, Tribes, and small and socially-disadvantaged farmers. DOC provided updates on the revisions to MLRP guidelines and the development of the Project Implementation Checklist. The Statewide Support Entity also connected block grantees to resources for additional learning opportunities.
