Now available to MLRP block grantees: the Block Grantee Forum!
MLRP block grantees are invited to the annual in-person Pause & Reflect meeting September 21-22 at Moss Landing Marine Labs in Moss Landing, CA.
See more details as they are added below, including a meeting agenda, logistics details, and slides.
Please RSVP by Tuesday 9/1 so we can accommodate as many participants as possible.
Meeting Goal
The goal of this meeting is to strengthen the MLRP grantee community of practice’s ability to deliver meaningful, durable multibenefit land repurposing projects by reflecting on what implementation is teaching us, learning from one another and projects in practice, and translating those reflections and learnings into practical adaptations that can improve project delivery and demonstrate the value of MLRP.
Day 1 (10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) prioritizes conversation and exchange across grantee teams as we reflect on implementation progress and challenges, learn from what's happening on the ground, and work through shared and active project delivery needs.
Day 2 (9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.) takes Day 1's learning into the field, with visits to MLRP project sites in Pajaro Valley and opportunities to hear from local partners about multibenefit land repurposing in practice.
Please park in the lower gravel lot or along Moss Landing Rd (free with no time limits). The upper gravel lot is reserved for MLML students, staff, and faculty. If you park on Moss Landing Rd. you will walk up the paved driveway, be aware the driveway is moderately steep.
The Inn at Moss Landing is the closest recommended hotel.
